All trims come paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), with paddle shifters on the Sport and EX-L trims. A new feature on the 2023 Honda CR-V is Honda's Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™ (i-AWD). This advanced system provides an all-wheel drive grip under normal conditions while also providing improved handling when cornering or quick acceleration. It will instantly switch power between the rear and front wheels as needed to improve performance. It still maintains an excellent fuel economy of 8.4 L/100 km for city driving and 7.8 L/100km on the highway.
