Interior Design
The Honda CR-V's interior design is sophisticated and impressively spacious. This lineup has six trims: LX-B 2WD, LX-B AWD, Sport, EX-L, EX-L Hybrid, and Touring Hybrid. They all seat up to five passengers, yet they’re so spacious that they barely look like a compact SUV, as Honda calls it. It has a cargo volume of 1,113 L when the rear seats are up, increasing to 2,166 L when they’re folded down.
You’ll find fabric seats on the lower three models and leather-trimmed surfaces on the others, while the EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid add orange accents to their surfaces. You’ll find a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob in the Sport and higher trims. Heated front seats are standard across the lineup, while heated rear seats are available only in the EX-L and higher models.
Comfort and Amenities
The new CR-V is ready for long journeys, providing adjustable seats for everyone. The driver’s seat has six manual adjustments for the base trim, while the Sport and higher models offer an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat plus a two-way power lumbar support. The front passenger seat has four adjustments, which are manual for the LX-B models and power-adjustable for the rest. The EX-L and higher models have position memory for the driver’s seat.
All models have rear air vents, back seat armrests with cupholders, power door locks, LED map lights, and LED cargo lights. Power windows are available for all models, but the LX-B trims have it only for the driver. The Sport trim model power windows for both front seats, while higher trims have it for all windows. Walk-away door locks are standard for the entire lineup. Seatback pockets on front seats are standard for the Sport and upper trims.
Technology Features
The LX-B trims have a 7-inch touchscreen display while higher models come with a standard 9-inch touchscreen display. This display is equipped with four to six speakers in trims up to the Sport, the EX-L has eight speakers, and the EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid have a luxurious Bose Premium audio system with 12 speakers. Regardless of your choice, a speed-sensitive volume control keeps your soundtrack shielded from exterior noises. Also, the Touring Hybrid is the only model that has navigation features equipped in its display.
All models have mobile compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. But don’t forget to bring your cables if you choose any trim up to the Sport. Higher models have wireless mobile connectivity and wireless chargers as standard. USB ports, Sirius XM, and HD radio are available only from the EX-L and above. All models have one USB-A and one USB-C for the front seats.
